We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and your rights, under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Transcend London Limited (company number 15731883), trading as Transcend Wellness London. Registered office: Osborne House, 143–145 Stanwell Road, Ashford, Middlesex TW15 3QN. Studio: 10a Eden Street, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1BB, is the data controller. Questions about your data: [email protected] or 0208 058 3456.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Bookings and payments: what you book and when. Card payments are handled by Vagaro and Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- Health information: anything you tell us on your waiver, at your health check or in conversation, so we know a session is right for you. This is special category data and we only collect it with your explicit consent.
- Messages: emails, calls and WhatsApp messages you send us.
- Website use: basic technical data (such as your IP address) that any website receives when you visit.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To take and manage your bookings (contract).
- To keep you safe in your sessions (your explicit consent for health information; vital interests in an emergency).
- To answer your questions and run the business (legitimate interests).
- To send you news and offers (consent; you can opt out at any time).
- To keep financial records (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your data. We share only what is needed with:
- Vagaro (bookings, memberships and payments)
- Stripe (gift card payments)
- Cloudflare (website hosting and security)
- Microsoft, via GoDaddy (our email)
- Google (fonts on our website; our Google reviews; and, only if you accept the cookie, measuring our gift card adverts)
- WhatsApp (if you choose to message us there)
- Our accountants (financial records)
- Medical services (only in an emergency)
Some of these providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK law, such as adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
Booking, waiver and health records: while you are a client and for up to six years after your last visit, to meet legal and tax requirements. Marketing: until you unsubscribe. Messages: as long as needed to deal with them.
